Bark in the Park 2027 St. Pete: Walk for the Animals & Dog Festival

Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Bark in the Park comes to St. Petersburg for the first time, at Albert Whitted Park on the downtown waterfront. Walk registration opens at 9:00am, and the one-mile Walk for the Animals goes out in heats starting at 9:30am (registered walkers get their check-in and walk times in advance). The festival is open to the public from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with music and entertainment, food and drinks, dozens of vendors, a Kid Zone, doggie fun zones, a doggie costume contest, and a showcase of adoptable dogs. Dogs are welcome and must stay on leash at all times. If you use a retractable leash, lock it short so you keep control in the crowd (the organizers expect 4,000+ people). Walk registration and fundraising are on the host's page, and the festival is free to attend. Proceeds fund medical care, food, housing, and enrichment for the animals at HSTB's Hillsborough and Pinellas campuses.
