Bark in the Park Wednesday at Bright Nights York, WellSpan Park

About this event

Dog night at Bright Nights, the walk-through holiday lights show inside WellSpan Park (home of the York Revolution). Wednesdays are the only nights dogs can come: bring your leashed dog and walk the roughly half-mile loop around the ballpark and field, with more than 3 million lights. Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2026 (Bark in the Park night; the host's 2026 schedule also lists a Holiday Pop-Up Bar in the 1741 Club that night) Time: gates open 5:00 p.m. EST. Bright Nights closes promptly at 9:00 p.m.; the host asks you to arrive by 8:30 p.m. to have time for the walk. Location: WellSpan Park, 5 Brooks Robinson Way, York, PA 17401. Parking is free: the main lot is Smalls Athletic Field (31 Hamilton Ave, York, PA 17401), with a shuttle or a short lit walk across the bridge to the entrance. Tickets: $15 adults, $10 ages 4-12, under 3 free (online at brightnightsyork.com, by phone at 717-801-4487, or at the Shipley Energy Ticket Office). Tickets are non-refundable. The host doesn't list a separate dog ticket. Dog rules from the host: dogs only on Wednesday Bark in the Park nights (service animals any night). Owners sign a liability waiver for their dog at the entrance. Keep dogs leashed. Some displays have flashing (non-strobe) lights, so think about whether your dog is OK with crowds and bright lights. Concessions (cashless) sell ballpark food, hot chocolate, beer, wine and cocktails. The event runs in light rain or snow; heavier weather closures are posted on the host's website and social media.
