History Hounds Explore Hollywood Cemetery

History Hounds: a guided walking tour of Hollywood Cemetery with your dog, from The Valentine in partnership with the Richmond SPCA. On a bluff overlooking the James River, learn the story of Richmond's iconic cemetery, the final resting place for many famous Virginians. Sun Nov 1, 10:00-11:30am. Meeting place: enter at Cherry and Albemarle streets and meet at the rear of the stone cottage to the left. Street parking. The tour is 1.5 to 2 miles. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, a bowl and pickup bags. Dogs must be up to date on vaccines, mix well with others (both human and canine) and stay on a leash (a non-extendable leash is recommended). Tickets: $20 adult, $10 Valentine members, children free. Advance tickets are required and non-refundable.
