About
The Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland (ASAP) leads the way in making the community the safest for pets in the country by developing and sustaining metro-wide programs. Their initiatives include the 'Spay & Save' program which has decreased cat intake from the public to Portland metro area shelters by 50% since 2010. The organization maintains a comprehensive directory of community resources and lists partner adoption locations rather than operating a single public facility.
