About

Bernal Beast is a community pet store in Bernal Heights, San Francisco, serving pet families since 2000 with curated food, treats, toys, and everyday essentials. The shop offers certified dog training with science-backed methods, including structured core classes and weekly puppy socials. They also provide pet food subscription plans and partner with Pettooth to offer dental checkups for canines on-site.

What people say

Customers consistently praise the knowledgeable, patient staff (specifically trainers Erika and Steph) and the store's welcoming, community-focused atmosphere with high-quality natural products. However, some reviews highlight frustrations regarding strict return policies that limit cash refunds to store credit and occasional issues with unresponsive communication for online orders.
