Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter (FOPAS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving animal lives through adoption and foster care. The shelter features specific profiles for dogs and cats available for adoption and offers intake request forms for both species. They operate with a volunteer-driven model and host fundraising events to support their mission.

What people say

Adopters frequently praise the staff for being kind, caring, and responsive, with many expressing deep gratitude for finding their pets there. However, some families report frustrating experiences involving strict medical hold policies that delay adoptions.
