About

Kansas City Sheltie Rescue operates exclusively with private foster homes rather than a public facility, treating every Sheltie as part of the family. All dogs entering the program receive veterinary checks, spay/neuter procedures, dental cleanings, vaccinations, and microchipping before adoption. The organization is currently working on a replacement facility as they are not holding adoptions at Petco.

What people say

A volunteer-run, foster-based rescue dedicated to Shetland Sheepdogs since 2001, requiring adopters to have a secure fenced yard.
