About

The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) operates multiple animal care centers across the county to provide shelter, adoption, and enforcement services. The department offers programs for pet licensing, microchipping, spay/neuter, and emergency response for animal-related crises. Residents can surrender pets without an appointment during business hours, though the page encourages exploring other resources first.
