About

Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to placing unwanted and abandoned purebred dogs into new homes. Founded in 1987, the group works cooperatively with shelters, breed clubs, and individuals to rescue, refer, and educate the public on responsible dog ownership. The organization operates without a physical office or kennel space, relying entirely on donations and a foster home network.

What people say

Adopters praise the dedication of breed-specific volunteers and successful placements of senior dogs, while others report rude interactions during surrender attempts and concerns over past euthanasia decisions.
