About

The Silverlake Dog Park is a dedicated off-leash facility managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. It operates daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with an earlier closing time on Tuesdays and regular maintenance closures on Wednesdays. The park enforces specific codes of conduct, including mandatory spaying/neutering, vaccination, and licensing for all dogs over four months old.

What people say

Visitors consistently praise the friendly community and the separate areas for large and small dogs, but the park is frequently criticized for being a dusty, dirty 'dustbowl' with loose dirt and occasional garbage.
