About

spcaLA is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals since 1877 and currently lists 173 adoptable pets including dogs, cats, and other species. The organization operates multiple locations across Los Angeles, specifically in Long Beach, South Bay, and Los Angeles. Visitors can search for pets by name, breed, age, and specific location.

What people say

Visitors praise the kindness of reception staff and the gentle handling of animals by veterinary technicians, though some note that appointments for services like neutering can be booked weeks in advance. The organization is highly rated for its financial transparency and mission, but employee reviews indicate internal management friction.
