About

Wags & Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue founded in 2011 that partners with overcrowded shelters to save at-risk dogs. Most dogs live in foster homes while waiting for adoption, allowing the organization to learn their personalities and prepare them for forever families. The organization operates adoption centers in Los Angeles and Nashville, with a presence in New York, and has helped over 16,500 families find their pets.

What people say

Wags & Walks is widely praised for its caring staff, thorough temperament evaluations, and supportive foster network that avoids the 'factory' feel of other rescues. While most adopters and fosters report positive experiences, there are isolated mentions of the adoption process being exhausting or disappointing for a small number of users.
